Founded in an interplay between the past and the present, Except amplifies poetic resonances of the site and re-presents these as a world absent of referentials. Pulling apart images and sounds recorded in the now-destroyed Nylex facility in Cremorne, Melbourne, this project drew out temporal disturbances present at this site, questioning our relationship to time and nature as we enter the post-human epoch
